Meet Dr. Ochei

Dr. Ochei's experience spans more than 22 years and 4 continents.  She is certified by the American board of Pediatrics, holds a Master degree in Public Health and is a fellow of American Academy of Pediatricians. 

Dr. Nnalu Felicia Ochei is a graduate of the University of Nigeria Medical School. She completed her internship at the University Teaching Hospital Port-Harcourt in 1989 then moved to England with her husband Dr. Dennis Ochei, for post graduate training in pediatrics.

While in the United Kingdom, she completed rotations in several pediatric subspecialties while working in National Health Service hospitals in Birmingham, Stafford, Coventry, Burton upon Trent and Southampton. She also worked as staff pediatrician at the Princess Margaret Hospital in the Bahamas.

She relocated to Texas in 1999 and completed the Master of Public Health program at UT Southwestern Medical Center as well as the Pediatric residency program at Texas Tech University Health Science Center, El Paso.

Dr. Ochei served as the Director of Pediatrics, Specialty Clinics of Dallas until 2008 when her lifelong desire to help the medically underserved led to the opening of PM Pediatrics (a clinic dedicated to underinsured children) in Lewisville, Texas. 

She is passionate about church and volunteerism and enjoys traveling, reading and playing squash.
